great looking property, welcoming atmosphere, local beer selection
The shower could use a significant upgrade. it's cramped!!! the toilet handle was wobbly, which meant a constant reminder to fix it myself. Small details matter for improvement!!!

this place has a super cosy atmosphere with an open fire and the seating is so comfy! the food was served quick and everything was really nice. our room, the deluxe double, was nice n warm, clean, and pretty spacious. breakfast was amazin, full english with cereals and juices too. staff were super friendly and helped us a lot which made the stay even better.
only small complaint was that the room was a tad cold in the evening, and a bit more storage for stuff wud have been nice.

Extremely welcoming staff made check-in a breeze. The room was spacious and had a cozy feel, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great sleep. Modern bathroom with all needed amenities. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. the Full English was plentiful and delicious. The cozy atmosphere in the dining area really stood out. I did notice the heating in the room could have been better. it felt a bit chilly in the evening. a bit more storage for personal items would have been ideal. a delightful stay despite minor issues.

The staff were great and really went out their way for us we came in late and they opened the kitchen just for us to serve fish and chips and it was beautifully cooked it wasn't even on the menu so that helped a lot plus the room had fresh milk for my coffee which made me feel right at home
It wasn't the cheapest but honestly worth it for the quality

The room had impressive high ceilings, making it feel spacious despite the chilly temperature. The extra radiator did the trick well for warmth on a cold night, allowing for a cozy atmosphere.
Bathrooms felt cramped, making it a hassle to maneuver when you really want to unwind. Breakfast served way too late for business travelers, leaving little time to start the day efficiently. No Wi-Fi in the room and connectivity issues in the bar area disrupted a relaxing evening. the bar's ambiance could be oddly colorful, with some rowdy local chatter, not exactly the quiet retreat some might hope for.
